I’m From Rice Toner Ingredients Analysis
- Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract (77.78%). This is the main ingredient in the moisturizer and is the source of the ceramides and antioxidants that give the moisturizer its benefits. Ceramides are essential for maintaining the skin’s barrier function, which helps to keep moisture in and prevent irritants from getting out. Antioxidants help to protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals, which are molecules that can damage cells and contribute to aging.
- Niacinamide. Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3 that has been shown to have a variety of benefits for the skin, including reducing the appearance of wrinkles, improving skin texture, and brightening the complexion. It is also a good antioxidant that can help protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals.
- Adenosine. Adenosine is a compound that can help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It works by relaxing the muscles in the skin.
- Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Extract. This is another source of antioxidants and nutrients that can benefit the skin. It can help to improve skin elasticity and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
- Amaranthus Caudatus Seed Extract. Known for its hydrating properties, this ingredient adds an extra layer of moisture, catering to dry or fatigued skin.

I’m From Rice Toner Review
Here are my thoughts based on my usage.
Firstly, I expected it to come in a glass bottle, as I had seen in old videos featuring the toner. However, mine was in plastic. It’s not a fake; the packaging has changed. Huh.
This toner is as thin as water. Most of my favorite toners are thicker, except for the exfoliating ones. So, my first thought was that I might not repurchase the I’m From Rice Toner because it doesn’t feel “solid” enough and probably won’t do much.
I was a bit frustrated because, frankly, this toner is not the cheapest compared to other Korean toners. Despite having many positive reviews and being touted as one of the most popular hydrating toners, I didn’t feel compelled to use it much.
However, I felt more optimistic once I applied it in three layers. It was like magic happened. My skin felt plumper, incredibly soft, almost silky, and it even had a slightly oily feel. Later, I discovered that the rice ingredient used here is a source of ceramides, which are naturally occurring lipid molecules in the skin barrier. So, it’s no surprise now that it feels slightly oily (still not enough to hinder the penetration of other products you use).
What about hydration? I apply three layers of Im From Rice Toner every evening for about two months. I have a combination of skin with very dry zones, so I desperately need more hydration there. It feels like this toner contributes to the hydration pretty much.
My skin feels so soft and smooth after applying it! I did not have any negative reactions (and, luckily, the toner is unscented, so no fragrance issues too).
When the time flew, I noticed that my freckles were less noticeable, and my skin tone became evener (but I’m writing it in December, so there might be natural reasons like less sun exposure).
Overall, I liked the hydration properties of the toner, but I don’t like a bit oily finish, and it does not last as long as the other toners.
The price is 21-30€ for 150 ml, and, for example, Dear, Klairs, Gentle, Unscented Skin Prep Toner costs 18-27 for 180, Beauty of Joseon, Ginseng Essence Water is 15-22 for 150 ml.
It feels a bit more luxurious than the last one and is more suitable for winter, so if the price is not a concern, I would recommend it as it feels like a lux toner.
